Eat the scroll. Download the words from the passage into the experience/memory you have as an eye witness.
4. ENGULF THE WORD
ADD THE SUBTITLES TO THE MOVIE
Then he said to me, "Son of man, eat this scroll I am giving you and fill your stomach with it." So I ate it, and it tasted as sweet as honey in my mouth. Ez. 3:3 NIV
Eat the scroll and download the words from the passage into the experience/memory you have as an eyewitness. The Word preserves the experience from evaporating and maintains the experience for long term recall of the encounter.
For example, think of how the Lord spoke a key verse to you in a crucial time of your life, and how when you speak that verse out loud there is a deep power associated through your history with the Lord and that truth.
Now we are adding subtitles to the movie! Keep the vision at the front. If you make it about the words it will fail. If there is no revelation, it won’t work.
NOTE: Each of the previous 3 steps are good in themselves, however as we combine the steps and move forward there is another element of power released through the Word itself.
When you are eating/downloading the verses it has to be associated with emotion and visualization each step of the way; when you are seeing it you need to make a choice of how people look as they are reacting in the moment. IT IS NOT MEMORIZATION. The Scripture will now connect with the pictures of the scene in your mind and the emotions you feel.
